Intro

In-game terminology uses Abilities for skill categories.
An easier way to think about it is Skill Tress —> Skill Branches —> Skills

There are five Skill Trees: Melee, Finesse, Prayers, Magic, and Special.
Each Skill Tree has four or five Skill Branches, except for the Special tree which has just Race Skills and Horsemanship.

Potential is how many Ability Points you've added to a Skill Branch.
Proficiency is how much you've used the Skills in a Skill Tree.
